A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty hi-yo Silver! The Lone Ranger! With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early West. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, the Lone Ranger rides again!
Great picture, the old school Ranger is still the best. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Looks awesome! I really like art depicting this "era". Not that many people paint/draw things from this era, and that saddens me. Only one thing, though. By the looks of it, the revolver reminds me of a Colt Model 1851 Navy, but the rifle looks like a Winchester Model 1873, released the same year as the Colt Single Action Army. For him to choose the Navy instead of the SAA would, in my opinion, be a bad choice, due to the fact that the SAA is technologically superior. Whether this was intentional or not, I don't know, but it still looks amazing! Keep up the good work
Every new piece you post, should automatically be a Daily Deviation! Wonderfully subtle colors, dynamic composition and painting technique. Reminiscent of the great illustrators of yesteryear. Thank you for posting work that is so inspirational!
