I really like this, especially the way the soldier(?) has his hand on the healer's arm... I dunno, it just strikes a chord in me.

Plus, my name is Jessie ;)

Balmgiver's left hand seems larger than her right, even tho right is closer to foreground. Is it just me?

maybe, I think I see what you're seeing but to me it's just the pose of the thumb giving the hand a larger shape, they're pretty much the same size

It's really competitive. If you don't already, you should check out artorder.blogspot , it's a blog by D&D art director Jon Schindehette and he talks alot about the business and practicals of working with WotC

when I saw this I immediately knew it was a picture for Magic! Just loved the game. Started playing when i was still so young! Gosh, good old times.
If I ever start drawing professionally Magic, the Gathering will be my goal. Working for them must be so awesome.
You're so cool for having come thus far!

The scene is very good, you could make a description of some of your paintings, this one deserved it for sure. It caght my interest in finding some details about these characters and what's happening. Beautiful work.

Absolutely gorgeous. Very inspiring. Do you use references for these? I'd like to know if or how exactly you use them to benefit your work. : )

Yeah, I shoot my own photo reference for most of my work, working from B&W prints
