12x15, oil on illustration board, a small experiment in guided chaos
Apsolutely stuning work
Beautiful work and technique.
This is a fantastic piece
Cool and powerfull!
My jaw just dropped... Amazing!
Just love it!!
Are you kidding me? This is traditional! That's beyond awesome! Very Giger-like with the dark ridged stuff. Looks so realistic! *scared*
Sensual, deep, dark and haunting. This is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
This Is Wickedly Awesome.
i love this so much, the shapes, the colors...so amazing
wow! giger style!
hell ya man! i dig the chaoss. I have this idea, or notion about certain lines and patters, organic feeling shapes such as rib cages, faces, knuckles, and especially spines have these certain edges and shapes that scream out uneasy, sinister and mysterious.Yet they come out free flowing and well, natural. Its hard to explain. Simply said i like all the junk in the background, i like painting that stuff too. Check me out and say something. i just found this site the other day.
thanks! agreed, so many amazing textures in nature. Fractal patterns and intricate detail all over the place
thanks man, i'll definitely do that. i spend s much time conceiving every shape, lighting structure, and posture, everything i do is conceptual with no reference. I spend a lot of time reshaping over and over. I've also never thought of seeking out a convention.
I love how this is at once chitinous and voluptuous. It's very tactile. Beautifully done!
great work! the styling really brings to mind Mr Giger!
Dayummm That looks amazing. If you don't mind my asking, how much time did this take?
