Beautiful piece, but there's one major anatomical detail that really sticks out to me. This is based on a tortoise, right? So where's it's plastron (ie the lower half of its shell)? Most tortoises have a thick plastron, often with a long protruding flange at the front (frequently used by males to fight over females).
Its doing its job by keeping me happy and inspired. Sadly it needs a new home as the matting and frame its currently in just happened to barely fit. ...hmmm. Kinda like a hermit crab. I originally had a painting on illustration board in the frame but musing is much better to look at.
I was on the fence about it as an actual card when I first say it because I've been playing long enough to remember morphling and feel that it was a little underpowered under the current rules. BUT, having lost games to it, I have full respect for the card.
